Kahr 380 MagGuts™-High Capacity Magazine Conversion For 7 Round Factory Magazine
Converts your 7 round Kahr .380 caliber magazine into an 8 round magazine without adding extension. Internal OEM components are replaced with MagGuts components.
This is the latest and improved version which includes a connected hybrid spring system. The springs are attached together along with the lock plate for easier and more foolproof assembly.
-Retains exact feel of original pistol since size does not change.

    Adding a extra round to a magazine capacity without extending the footprint of the mag makes this purchase well worth the cost. It was easy to install and to date I have not had any problems or malfunctions. I bought two for the 6 round mag and one for the 7 round-and then one for my LCP. My only gripe is they do not have Magguts for my CM9!

    I installed in 3 magazines correctly according to instructions included and video tutorial, couldn’t even rack a round with a full mag even if I dropped the slide lock. Installed stock components back into mags no problems at all

    The locking plate that is attached the “Z” spring does not work with the pearce grip extender. Then the whole thing shot out of the mag while I was trying to get it to fit and I lost the cup so now i can’t even send it back. Just buy another mag

    Nice design (very clever) and great quality components. Works as claimed, allowing an additional round in the magazine, bringing the 7 round Kahr OEM mag up to 8 rounds with no change in length. Once assembled, verify that the extra round fits comfortably in the mag. If it doesn’t fit, or if the fit is extremely tight with no room to spare, then something is wrong with the assembly and you will need to disassemble, re-check component orientation, reassemble carefully, and verify once again. Once everything is oriented and seated correctly, the last round will fit with some room to spare and the mag will function flawlessly!

    I had expected a faster delivery (10 days!), but then I blame the covid-19 VIRUS for that. I was disappointed with the results of buying 2: Kahr P380 7-round conversion kits. The saving grace is the extra round capacity 7 to 8. The problem is (and was with the OEM magazines), when loading one in the chamber, and then attaching the now 8 round magazine, the top round nose dives, and the gun jams, FTB. After that the other 7 rounds chamber fine. The P380 has been totally reworked, polished everything to a mirror finish. At least now, instead of one in the chamber and 6 in the magazine (to feed reliably), I have 7 in the magazine, with one in the chamber.

    The only two things I can comment on is that it looks exactly like what is pictured and that I received it in the mail exactly when they said I would. I will come back to do a review once I get to utilize it after the gun ranges reopen.

    This was my 2nd order for a Kahr 7 to 8 rd. Conversion. I continue to have problems with the metal follower. Either bending during shipping or something has me tweeting the follower to make it work.
    Magguts, PLEASE make the follower for the Kahr conversion kits a separate purchase item, so I can get an undamaged follower. Thanks.

    My 6 round mag now holds 7 +1 in chamber, my 7 round mag now holds 8, with 2 mags I have 16 rounds, for my great Kahr CW380, easy to conceal carry! have shot 100 rounds of Federal FMJ and about 20 rounds of federal 99gr HST JHP with no problems, no misfires, no failure to battery.

    I have bought 8 units in 3 shipments from Magguts for my Kahr P380. I’ve had issues with each shipment. On this last shippment, to modify 3 magazines from 7 to 8 rds., I had to sand the sharp sides of the follower as the follower would not move smoothly thru the stainless steel body of the magazine and I had FTF problems ( rds. Coming up too slow thru the magazine to feed in time). Always, on all conversion kits, I have feed problems if I start a full magazine and one in the tube. ???

    I have not fired my cw380 yet. The mod was very easy to install. I can’t believe the amount of Spring that fits into that tiny magazine, and still increases capacity! It’s voodoo! The kahrs dsctiry magazines have a weak spring in comparison to the really stout recoil main spring. The factory Spring works but is sub optiomal to the mag guts. Based off my research. Can’t wait to get to the range!

    Magguts work great in my Kahr P380. I believe the Magguts follow works better at feeding ammo than the Kahr factory follower. I plan on installing Magguts in all my Kahr P380 magazines.

    Amazing! The Kahr P380 clips are now reliable and ALWAYS hold the slide open on the last round. I just wish I could buy the components of the kit separately. I have had to buy whole kits when I only needed a follower. Still I bought the whole kit to fix my problem.
