I have ran about 100rds though it and it works perfect.
Henry M. (verified owner) –
This item replaces the spring and follower inside the magazine and allows you to get an extra round in the magazine. It’s a little tricky to get them to work, but once they are working they work great!
Tom D. (verified owner) –
Easy to install, works great
Alexander S. (verified owner) –
Great product. Ran 150rd through PPS 40S&W so far with no malfunction. Slide did fail to lock open on empty mag once.
Daniel W. (verified owner) –
I bought magguts kits for all three walther PPS m2 magazines. All three have been great! Installation wasnt bad. No issues with feeding or other functions.
Gregory (verified owner) –
Had a little trouble getting the springs set correctly, once I did, I went to the range and ran through several mags, worked perfectly.
Shane (verified owner) –
I have had the plus 1 magguts for the 6 round PPS M2 mag for a year or more and put hundreds of rounds through it with no failures so I was really happy to see them make these for the 7 and 8 round mags also. I have purchased and use all 3 versions. Top notch design and quality with perfect functionality. Thanks Magguts for supporting the Walther PPS M2!
Perry T. (verified owner) –
The 6+1 works fine in my 6 round mag but I couldn’t get the 8+1 assembly to work in my 8 round magazine. It kept sticking in its compressed state in the bottom of the mag. I had to stick a screwdriver down inside to get it to pop back up. I think the problem may be the center cup that joins the two springs hanging up inside the mag. I’m hoping MagGuts will let me swap it for a mag spring for my 7 round mag.
Victor w. (verified owner) –
Your product is GREAT and so simple to use. I hope I never need a +1 but there is no downside to improving your capacity, this is a great way to do so without adding additional size.
JAMES (verified owner) –
i USED THEM IN MY PPS. I HAVE ONLY RUN ABOUT 100 ROUNDS THROUGH MINE, BUT SO FOR SO GOOD. THE 9TH ROUND MIGHT BE THE ONE YOU NEEDED.
RICK T. (verified owner) –
Nice to have an extra round in the 8 round magazine at the range. So now I have 9 + 1 instead of 8 + 1.
David L. (verified owner) –
PPS M2 8 round mag extension.. fairly easy just go slowly!!
Aquate B. (verified owner) –
I have the walther pps m2 le and have used magguts on all three magazines. Feed look and overall performance is amazing. Took to the range and all three magazines work perfectly!! Shipping is fast and great customer service overall. I recommend this product to all that want more capacity but a stop look.
Kevin M. (verified owner) –
I love my magguts gear. Trust it enough to use it in my edc weapons.
Carlos W. (verified owner) –
I have two of these. In both magazines, after loading the 8th round the spring gets stuck at the bottom, don’t exert upward pressure any longer and the rounds inside the magazine become loose. They can be unstuck by feeding the 9th round and banging the magazine, but that will lead to a double feed between the 8th and the 7th round; the magazines won’t cycle properly. I have interchanged the kits with the magazines, and it will happen every time. The 6, and the 7 round conversion kits work fine.

These magazine extensions work flawlessly. They are a must have!

Could not get kit to work properly, would not recommend for Walther PPS M2
Douglas Vetter (verified owner) –
I wish magguts could be used in every gun ……! But the pistols I have ….. Magguts is the 100% problem solving answer if you want more rounds, without those extensions you have to buy!! Love magguts!
Billy T. (verified owner) –
PERFECT!!
JOSHUA BRACKE (verified owner) –
I have Magguts in all my PPS M2 mags (the factory 6 and 7 round mags, these have had no hangups or problems whatsoever), and this version is excellent as well, with one exception. It does have a tendency to nosedive rounds into the magazine if not properly seated. A simple tapping the back of the mag when fully loaded to fully seat the rounds will solve the problem.
Raul H. (verified owner) –
This kit was the easiest to install out of the three different kits I purchased. It works. It’s reliable. And worth it.
Christopher (verified owner) –
Works like charm….
Michael D. (verified owner) –
Haven’t gotten to test it yet, but it was very easy to install! I was skeptical of the 2-part spring design, but they don’t bind when actuating the magazine.
Anonymous (verified owner) –
I purchased 2 spring kits for my 8 round Walther PPS M2 mags. Installation was a breeze took less that 10 minutes, all parts fit well. At first the 9th round was slightly stiff to insert but it went in without too much force. I put 100 rounds through gun at the range using half ball and half various defensive ammos ranging from hollow points to flex tip rounds. The range test was 100% function without any problems feeding, extracting nor hang-ups of any kind. I now use & trust the mags with the MagGuts for my daily carry.
James D. (verified owner) –
Works perfectly. Easy to install, video how to was very helpful.
Shane (verified owner) –
Bad product. Causes feeding issues into chamber repeatedly on a previously FLAWLESS firing weapon. Had to switch back to Original guts and scrap the MagGuts. Not for me.
admincorso (store manager) –
The converted magazine should work perfectly. Something is definitely wrong. The problem you describe is typically a symptom that something was assembled improperly. Please refer to an email sent to you via email from support to help you solve this issue.
Andrew C. (verified owner) –
Easy to install and provides reliable feeding. Used at a class and had 0 malfunctions. Well made product.
Tyler (verified owner) –
The product is great, easy instructions to follow and quality. Price is high. Hard to justify more than one of these when a new mag is only a few dollars more, but packs many more rounds.
Kevin Walther (verified owner) –
Excellent product. Works like a dream. Ran 200 rounds through both mags today and they ran flawlessly. If I run into a problem, I’ll update this reply but, based on how they ran, I’m not anticipating any problems.
Craig Hodge (verified owner) –
Worked like a champ. Great product.
Trevor (verified owner) –
Walther PPS M2 LE. The components are very interesting and I converted my two 8-round magazines in about 20-30 minutes being careful to get the spring orientation correct at the top of the magazine. Quality components. I don’t expect any issues in use. I did notice a more positive magazine ejection when released. I now have two 9-round magazines.

Update – failed – I cannot get a round to enter the chamber at all. The mag works only at the original size of eight rounds. The seven round to eight round conversion is OK, but the eight to nine round is useless for me. I can’t find anything wrong with the parts, but the part that pushes up on the bullets pops out of the mag in the front when it is empty – not good. Other than that, everything appears to be the same as the seven round conversion. It just doesn’t work.
This was my old review: Seems to work OK though I have not had a chance to shoot the gun. It was easy to install, but pushing the heel back on is kind of a pain, not as bad as the 7 round mag, but you still have to be ready for it. Other than that, installation was easy and everything seems to OK.

I have found these to be the only magazine extenders for the Walther PPS M2 magazine. They are relatively easy to install and they work flawlessly. I have run approximately 50 rounds through my magazines with no malfunctions, whatsoever. The components are high quality and on the You Tube tutorial is very clear and easy to follow.

Shipping was fast and installation took all of five minutes, if that. At the range, the device functioned flawlessly. A MagGuts for the seven-round PPS M2 magazine is now on the agenda. Excellent product.
Mark T. (verified owner) –
Terrific product. I have to admit it was more of a challenge to install than I expected, but much easier to install than the 6 round version. 150 rounds through the mag, no issues. Great product, really great customer service. Bought a number of these for my Kahr K9 with very much the same range performance experience.
Anonymous (verified owner) –
Have bought several of these for my magazines now and enjoy the capacity they add. Have put 500+ rounds through the gun with 3 converted magazines and no feeding issues.
Prompt customer service.
Be careful installing them because of the kinds of forces at play. I might have damaged one of the flat springs: It doesn’t always want to receive 9 rounds, and I have to tap it around with 6-7 rounds in to get the spring in the right place for all 9 rounds. That being said I have no issues with feeding and firing with that magazine.
Kevin Marinellie (verified owner) –
Followed directions and made sure everything was correct. First time at the range I shot 3 full mags with this magazine and my 7 (now 8) mag with mag guts. When I reloaded the 4th time it only let me load 7 rounds which I found interesting but did not try nor want to force an 8th or 9th round so I attempted to shoot with it. After the first shot the mag guts failed and all of the bullets fell out of the magazine once I released it and the mag guts were stuck down. I heard others have had issues with mag guts too but I was hoping my experience was going to better because I also read people that never have problems…. I will not trust these on my edc.

Awesome product! Easy assembly and runs rounds flawlessly.
Matthew (verified owner) –
I bought three of 8+1 extenders and none of them worked. I followed both written and video instructions multiple times to make sure that I had the install process correct. I could see the spring pushed sideways through the round indicator holes. I could not get the 9th round to load and the first 8 were stuck. Had to use some force to get the first round back out. After that I could tip the mag upside down and the rest would just fall out. The follower has a tendency to slip out of the top of the mag. There’s just isn’t enough metal to secure it inside the mag. The two spring design is horrible.
Out of morbid curiosity, I used the mag guts follower with Walther spring and baseplate. That setup had just over half the space needed for the ninth round. I believe that if mag guts had used their “Z” spring and attached one end to a follower with a little more metal, it could have easily held 9 rounds.

woks as advertised
Gerry (verified owner) –
A+! Product! 4-minute installation! This is my 3rd z-spring magguts, and so far all have run flawlessly through my pistols [Ruger, Glock, and now Walther PPS M2].
Joel M. (verified owner) –
Doesn’t seem to work very well. Gets jammed up. Don’t trust it in my EDC for sure. Switched back to the original walther spring.

I never got it
Carmen (verified owner) –
Installed this product on my 8 round mag on my pps m2 making sure everything was seated properly and went to chamber a round and it got hung up failing to feed. After several tries I took the guts out and reseated it again with the same issue. Wanting to make sure it wasn’t me I took it to a reputable gunsmith and he had the same issue. Since it is my edc I need it to be reliable I won’t be using the product as it never chambered a round. I’ll use my factory mag and chamber a round and pop the top.

Bernard N. (verified owner) –
Poorly designed and does not work. Edges are extremely sharp and drew blood during install. Follower bids and rounds are stuck in magazine. Had high hope but was extremely disappointed.
Christian H. (verified owner) –
Unable to make it fit, probably will be returning it
Aaron Graves (verified owner) –
Works great but pay close attention to the install video! I missed a very critical step and had some issues at first. Great support by the company to get me back to good!

Did exactly what they said it would def a little tricky getting the first mag back together with magguts spring but my suggestion is do it with mag on a flat surface so u only worry about the spring coming out one side
Philip (verified owner) –
After some significant effort, it worked faultlessly.
Randal R. (verified owner) –
The order was shipped very quickly. I haven’t had a chance to try it to see if there are any feed issues, but installation was pretty easy following the YouTube video.
Cristian Veneziale (verified owner) –
Nate (verified owner) –
Easy install and not a single malfunction after 150 rounds. I feel like the people having issues are either rushing the installation process or aren’t following the directions to begin with. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
B McCaskill (verified owner) –
I found reassembling the springs difficult, but I think I did it right. I have the magazine loaded with snapcaps but the slide tends to hang up when running the action. I have yet to go to the range, however.
Benjamin Lewis (verified owner) –
Not as easy as I thought it would be to assemble. Video helped a lot.
Jeffrey (verified owner) –
I haven’t shot it with the mag guts yet, but i have cycled practice ammo through it several times and it seems to work pretty well. It’s a little stiff when the 9th round goes into the mag. Hopefully real rounds cycle through with no problem.
Ross McKenney (verified owner) –
Relatively easy to install, functions well. Stiff reloading quickly gets better with a few cycles. Great invention!
Brian (verified owner) –
Installed incredibly easy, but spring binds up on the 9th round. There’s too much that could go wrong with this design, it’s not worth gambling on reliability for one extra round. Switching back to the factory springs.
Ardis Henderson (verified owner) –
Outstanding.
Andrew T. (verified owner) –
Just ran about 125 rounds through it and no feed or ejection issues. It took me several tries to get it to work. The issue was the spring into the feeder u have to stick a small screw driver in the front top and pull it up. Then the spring sets in proper place and worked after that.
Verified Buyer (verified owner) –
Works great. Thanks for the help
Ardis H. (verified owner) –
Outstanding I don’t have any complaints.
Verified Buyer (verified owner) –
I only wish it allowed more rounds.
